Description

This actuator arm is the mechanical lever inside the dishwasher door's dispenser assembly. Working with its spring, it releases the detergent cup at the proper point in the cycle to restore consistent detergent dispensing. What it does

• Transfers motion from the control/drive mechanism to the dispenser latch to open the detergent cup
• Provides the spring tension needed for the lever to return to its home position
• Helps ensure detergent is dispensed at the intended time in the wash cycle
• Common symptoms include detergent left in the cup, a dispenser door that won't latch or opens inconsistently, or a visibly broken/missing lever

Install notes

• Disconnect power to the dishwasher before servicing
• Open the door and remove the inner door panel fasteners to access the dispenser linkage
• Note the spring orientation; move the spring to the new arm if needed and seat the arm in the correct pivot location
