Description

This spark electrode assembly produces the ignition spark for a gas burner. Replacing a worn igniter pin helps restore quick, consistent lighting and reduce nuisance clicking or misfires at the affected burner. What it does

• Generates a high-voltage spark at the burner to ignite gas when you turn the knob
• Helps address a burner that won't light or only lights intermittently
• Useful when spark is weak/absent at one burner or the ceramic insulator is cracked
• Proper alignment and clean burner surfaces support reliable ignition

Install notes

• Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas; allow the appliance to cool completely
• Remove burner cap/head and top or trim as needed to access the electrode
• Connect the spark lead and seat the base securely; avoid stressing or cracking the ceramic
• Reassemble, verify spark at the tip, and test ignition at low and high settings
