Jl M Lutz , FL November 14, 2015 Appliance: Bosch SHY56A05 UC/14 (FD8301-) Display shows inconsistent times for cycles e g regular cycle may be 117 min 135 179 etc when display reads 1 minute it will continue running until cancelled water doesn't heat load doesn't dry I posed this question on the APP site and replacing the control unit was suggested. I ordered the unit at 5 pm on Wednesday and the part arrived via FedEx the next day before 10 am!! YouTube has a video that "pretty much" explained how to complete the job for this type of DW at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a48XesVzfU0. (My control unit was different than the one in the video but it was close.) It took about 20 minutes to complete the task. A Star Driver tool is definitely required to remove the door panel and access the unit. Happy Ending to a Good Story!
