Description

The Cover is an OEM part for Bosch dryers. It provides an additional seal over the removable lint filter compartment inside the dryer cabinet.

Causes of a bad filter cover can be general wear and stress from repeated removal and replacement of the lint filter over extended use. Heat cycling during drying may also cause plastic material fatigue and impact integrity.

Symptoms of a bad dryer filter cover include:

  • Cracks, warping or holes in the material compromising the seal
  • Inability to properly protect the internal lint filter from accumulation
  • Excessive airflow and circulation that impacts drying efficiency

This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

Easy fix. Slid old open door sideways to remove and reinstalled the new one in the same fashion.
