Joel D Cary , NC January 10, 2025 The bottom rack on the dish washer had started to rust Purchased the replacement bottom rack. and some internal wire-racks that can be raised and lowered on that bottom rack. The piece I wish I had known was that those extra wirerack pieces were included as part of the entire bottom rack part number. So I ended up with extra parts that weren't necessary. Karen B Laveen , AZ March 25, 2026 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHP878ZD5N/18 Bosch dishwasher racks/rusted tines the tines were no longer available separately and were the parts mostly rusted (probable manufacturing flaw) Watched the videos. The distributor arm was easy to pop off then pop onto the new rack. Also have 2 plastic moveable flaps on the right side of the middle rack that I moved to the new rack. The handle on the front also popped off and back onto the new rack. The lower rack was just a matter of rolling it in. There are more drop down tines on the new model than the old one so more versatile. Did not replace the utensil baskets and the old ones I have seem to fit ok, but I only use the top rack for utensils. A small screwdriver helped to pop off the tabs.
