Anthony S West Hazleton , PA November 21, 2014 Appliance: Model MSC229 BY THERMADOR. 1982 MODEL YEAR The baking element in my thermador oven failed I took the model number of the oven and typed that in followed by replacement backing element.there was a photo of the element that matched the original. They provided an online tutorial as to how to install it. It was very easy because the electrical contacts at the ends of the new baking element slid right into the electrical contacts inside the oven cavity. The only thing that you had to be careful about was loosing the electrical contacts deep inside the oven. But I didn't see it as much of a problem because the contacts we're attached to a fairly long electrical wire. The tutorial video was very helpful.
