Description

This defrost heater melts frost and ice buildup on the evaporator so your freezer and refrigerator can cycle normally and maintain proper cooling. It restores defrost operation without replacing the entire evaporator assembly. What it does:

• Heats the evaporator coil during the defrost cycle to remove accumulated frost and ice
• Helps prevent iced coils that cause poor cooling and long run times
• Can stop water pooling or dripping from excess defrost runoff
• Works with the fridge's defrost control/timer and thermostat to run only during defrost
