Description

This defrost heater melts frost from the evaporator during the automatic defrost cycle to restore airflow and stable temperatures. Replacing a failed heater stops ice buildup on the coils and helps your refrigerator cool reliably. What it does:

• Heats the evaporator coils to clear frost/ice during defrost
• Restores proper airflow for consistent refrigerator and freezer temperatures
• Helps prevent ice forming on the back panel/evaporator cover

Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing; wear cut-resistant gloves
