Description

This defrost heater melts frost and ice from the evaporator coils so the refrigerator can run normal defrost cycles and maintain proper airflow and cooling. Replacing a failed heater helps reduce ice buildup and restore consistent cooling. What it does:

• Heats the evaporator coils during the defrost cycle to remove accumulated frost and ice.
