Remove the three torx screws from the left side metal rail and remove the rail. Disconnect the wires from the door to the heating element and lift the element off the retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new heating element. Very simple repair. Charles W Agoura Hills , CA November 21, 2014 Appliance: Model B36IT70NNP 03 Broken heat element on bosch refrigerator door Open the door and remove the metal frame piece that holds the Heating Element in place. There are three torx head screws that hold it in position. Once the frame piece is removed and the electric plug is disconnected, the element comes right off. To reinstall, place the new element in the frame, plug in the electrical connection and reattach it to the door. Done!
