Kevin K Willow Street , PA May 23, 2017 Appliance: Bosch Freestanding Dual Fuel Range HDS7062U/01 Electric oven in our bosch stove would not heat properly Diagnosed the system using schematic on back of oven. With power ON (BE VERY CAREFUL - VERY DANGEROUS). Relay board was working - was providing 220VAC to Main Bake Element and Convection Element - even during pre-heat. Temp would not to past 400 - and temp would drop when oven door was opened. With Power OFF - disconnected one of the power leads to the bake element to properly measure its resistance - approx.. 20-25 ohms DC resistance - Element OK. Replace lead to Bake Element. Disconnected one of the leads to the Convection Element - to properly measure it resistance - OPEN CIRCUIT - BINGO !!! Ordered a new Convection Element from AppliancePartsPros.com at 9:30 PM !!! The new element came 2 days later. Measured its resistance - approx. 40 ohms - LOOKING GOOD. Removed the old Convection Element, and installed the new one in about 10 minutes. Gary C Sulphur , LA December 03, 2018 Appliance: Model BOSCH DUAL GAS ELECTRIC Oven not getting up to temp in bake mode Replaced convection element and bake element. Both tested OK but all I can do is check resistance. Stove is 10 plus years old and an expensive appliance. Works fine now so apparently the elements can get weak without burning out completely. I checked the resistance on the bake and convection elements & temp sensors. Bake element 29.2 ohms Temp sensor 1083 ohms Convection element infinite I put in a new convection element and it works like a champ.
