Brian W Fort Worth , TX December 05, 2021 New dishwasher replacement This was a dishwasher swap out. I first turned the water off to the inlet hose of the dishwasher from underneath the sink. Removed the inlet water hose from sink to dishwasher. (use wrench or adjustable wrench) Then removed the screws securing old dishwasher from the cabinetry. I then pulled out the dishwasher from the cabinetry hole it was in. I unplugged the power cord from the wall of the old dishwasher. Then Ii removed the other end of inlet hose still attached to old DW (braided stainless steel) with an adjustable wrench. Then I removed the drain hose removing clamp with a socket (you may also be able to use a flat tip screwdriver) Then I removed the drain line to the garbage disposal/sink drain by removing a clamp. Pull out drain hose and discard. Now get that old worn down machine out of the way. For replacing the new dishwasher and new hose (the new hose I bought since the old DW hose would not fit new DW) put the hose on The dishwasher outlet drain first, then tighten the clamp. Then route the other end of the hose to the garbage disposal/sink drain (where I removed the old one from) end and tighten the clamp. Then reconnect the inlet drain hose (from the old dishwasher) to the new dishwasher. The hose has two fittings that you need a wrench or adjustable wrench for. No clamps. Then turn the water inlet line valve to the ON position and check for leaks. Plug the power cord into the wall for the new dishwasher, then shove the dishwasher back into the hole of the cabinetry. Attach the two screws at the end of new dishwasher to the cabinetry to secure it in place and you’re done...... Really nothing to it Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Screwdrivers, Socket Set, Wrench Set
Patrick M Meridian , ID December 26, 2014 Bosch dishwasher drain hose leak Replaced hose with Bosch drain hose. Note: Bosch dishwasher REQUIRES Bosch brand drain hose. It is metric. Non-metric, or so-called "universal" replacement hoses do NOT fit. Order an actual Bosch hose, have it shipped overnight, and you will be back in business! Tom N Monroe , WA June 03, 2020 Dishwasher drain hose was leaking. I got a replacement drain hose, perfectly matching my dishwasher make and model, through the mail by internet order from Appliance Parts Pros. It took about ten minutes to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter and get both ends connected. It's working perfectly. It's amazing that it is so easy to access parts for my dishwasher, a Bosch that is about ten years old. Very much appreciated!
