Martin C Jacksonville , FL June 22, 2019 Appliance: Model BOSCH DISHWASHER. Door closer cord broke. Originally had a repair done by a local, highly rated, repair service. One year later, door flopped open again. This time I ordered parts from AppliancePartsPro which arrive in two days. Repair was accomplished in one hour, after watching their YouTube video. Parts used by original repair service were not Bosch, were totally inferior. Thank you AppliancePartsPro. Karen F Las Vegas , NV May 25, 2019 My child fell on the open dishwasher door, causing the door to overextend when open and not close properly. It was surprisingly easy to remove the door, remove the hinges, then install the new hinges. On my model, the right hinge has a wiring harness attached, but I just removed from the old hinge and attached it to the new one. You need to be careful about moving the door too far the the cabinet because of attached wires. I needed a torx bit for the screws and a flathead screwdriver for prying the hinges off their pins. Also, a needle-nose pliers helped for pinching the wiring harness clip to remove it from the right hinge. The project was easy enough to have my elementary aged kids help. John M Edmond , OK November 11, 2022 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE68T52UC/07 Sister tripped and fell on her new bosch dishwasher door and bent something bad the repair guy said it couldn't be fixed leaving the only option being to replace the whole dishwasher AppliancePartsPros exploded views made it easy for me to identify the door and hinge parts that had likely been damaged. Evidently, this happens often enough that they even made a repair video for this exact misfortune. After confirming that the suspected hinge and door parts were indeed damaged, I ordered replacement parts from APP and began fretting about the door being damaged in shipping. Not to worry. Three days later, the parts arrived and the door was packaged in sealed pack foam and in perfect shape. Thanks to the exact parts and the video, the dishwasher is working like new again and sis is baking me cookies. Paul V Clifton Park , NY February 12, 2021 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHX68T55UC/02 Bosch dischwasher was leaking and light flashing on the floor I previously replaced the door string and springs which were broken, the door gasket and then the latches without fixing the leaking and flashing light problem. As a last resort I replaced the door hinges and that was the solution! Even though it was hard to tell the old hinges were bent I knew the door had been dropped many times while the springs were broken. Wish I tried this first, but happy in the end it solved the problem and it was a fairly easy installation.
