Description

The Lock Clamp is an OEM replacement part for Bosch refrigerators. It is a fitting that secures the freezer drawer in its closed position. Made of durable metal and plastic, the lock-clamp features a latching mechanism to fasten the door shut with an audible click. 

Symptoms of a bad lock clamp include:

  • The freezer door not closing or latching securely
  • Warm air escaping from around the door seal  
  • Noise from a loose or poor-fitting lock-clamp
  • The door popping open unexpectedly

Causes of a bad lock clamp can include wear and tear of moving parts over time, broken clips or latches from repeated use.
