Description

This maintop nameplate assembly replaces the front control panel trim that surrounds the cooktop controls, restoring a clean appearance and proper label area for controls. It helps protect internal components and keeps the control area looking finished. What it does:

• Replaces damaged or worn control panel/nameplate trim that shows wear, scratches, or missing labeling
• Covers and protects the underlying control area and mounting points from spills and debris
• Restores proper alignment and fit of control knobs and switches when the original panel is bent or loose
• Improves appliance appearance and removes sharp or broken edges that can cause injury

What's included:

• One maintop nameplate assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any work to avoid shock or injury
• Remove control knobs and any retaining screws or clips to access the old nameplate; handle glass or metal edges carefully
• Align tabs and screw holes; do not force parts—ensure proper seating before tightening fasteners
• If any control components or labels are damaged, inspect and replace those parts separately
