Description

The Nut is an OEM component specifically designed for Bosch dishwashers. It secures the retaining clip housing of the rubber sump gasket in place at the base of the dishwasher's interior tub walls. Proper tightening prevents leaks and water damage.

Causes of a bad nut can involve stripping of threads from constant vibrations during heavy wash cycles over many years. Corrosion may also weaken metal connections exposed to moisture.

This OEM part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwasher models.

E15 error code

Kept getting water in the water pan of my Bosch 800 dishwasher. Appliance company wanted $1000 to change out an entire pump system. I determined the leak was from this nut and seal. Replaced and no more water!
