Wayne J Harleysville , PA January 12, 2019 Color change went from black to stainless steel Very smooth. I ordered the door and the control panel. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands when removing the screws from the door or place something under it so it doesn’t drop. The door comes off with about 10 screws. They are different length. Short screws go into steel, long go into plastic. Remove the door and upper facia/control panel. You’ll need to disconnect the wires. The panel has two parts that need to be transferred. 1. The electronic panel. It’s white and has a row of plastic retaining clips molded into the facia. They release with very light pressure using a small screw driver. Start at one end and work your way across. Transfer it to the new facia. 2. There is a door handle that clips into the facia. I didn’t notice it, reassembled the whole thing and then my wife asked why it was so rough. I got to do it again. It also snaps out with a couple molded clips and light pressure. Swapped it and then reassemble the whole thing. One additional item. The SS panel had plastic protection on it. I peeled enough of it away from the sides so it would be easy to remove after assembly. Very happy with the results, all the parts were packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. One more thing. I chatted with a representative when I was ordering the parts. He was outstanding. Not only did he find the parts, help me confirm I had the right dishwasher, he also placed the order and suggested some additional items that helped. I normally don’t bother with chat. I’m an IT guy so I expect it’s a bot or someone supremely incompetent on the other end. Your guy was fantastic. Please let him know. Wayne.
