The one thing it took us a while to figure out, is that the buttons have to be put in in a particular order. The buttons look similar but are not interchangeable.

The front panel replacement process is pretty straightforward. One item to note. As mentioned in another review the order of the buttons is important. Make sure to match the letter identifier on the button with the letter on the replacement front panel slot. Also, remember to remove the door handle from the damaged panel and install it in the replacement panel.

My husband was too busy with other things and had me calling repair companies. After calling a couple of appliance repair companies and hearing that the problem would cost at least $325.00 to fix and "it might not be worth it" maybe I "should buy a new dishwasher," I figured I'd go online and see how easy or difficult it was to fix myself. After all, it was only the plastic button panel and the lost buttons that needed fixing. It wasn't an electrical problem and the dishwasher otherwise worked fine! I found the online demonstration from AppliancePartsPros.com and it looked very straightforward. I ordered the parts for less than other places offered, they arrived the next day, and it took me 25 minutes to fix it! Voila! I saved at least $175.00 or $600.00 if I would have decided to opt for a new machine! THANK YOU!!!!
