The Microwave Door is an OEM component specifically designed for Bosch microwaves. It provides a barrier that safely contains microwave energy within the cooking cavity. 

Causes of a bad microwave door can include wear and tear over time, exposure to continuous heat and steam from cooking, as well as accidental impacts that damage the sealing surfaces.

Symptoms of a bad microwave door include:

  • Failure to securely latch or lock in place  
  • Warping or cracks in the glass window inhibit visibility
  • Loose door mounting prevents proper sealing
  • Microwave energy leaks when the door is closed  

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
