Description

This temperature regulator is the mechanical thermostat that controls oven heat. It senses cavity temperature and cycles the heat source on and off to reach and maintain your set temperature for consistent baking and roasting performance. What it does

• Senses oven temperature via a capillary bulb and tube
• Opens and closes internal contacts to control the heating source
• Maintains the selected temperature during cooking cycles
• Help resolve: oven not reaching set temp, overheating or wide swings, uneven baking, or unresponsive temperature control

Install notes

• Disconnect power; shut off gas. Allow the appliance to cool completely
• Note the original routing of the sensing bulb and capillary; reinstall the new one in the same path and clips. Do not kink, sharply bend, cut, or shorten the tube
• Transfer any knob/shaft components as needed and align properly
• After installation, verify temperature with an oven thermometer and adjust per service instructions if applicable
