Steven J Los Gatos , CA October 08, 2017 Appliance: Model SHU9955UC/11 Bosch dishwasher would not move any water Repair estimate was $250 parts, $250 labor to change out the circulating pump. I decided to do it myself. Pump was $166 from AppliancePartsPros. It arrived in 4 days. I looked at the video on their website, followed the instructions step by step and did it myself. They estimated 45 minutes. It took 2 hours. There are always minor differences so always take photos of yours. Suggest that you bag up all screws and pieces from each part as you take them off and label the bag. I had 12 bags with 2 to 8 screws in each. At the end I had no leftover parts or screws. I already had the required tools. I also labeled every part that came off as left, right, upper, lower, front, back. This will save you lots of aggravation. Dishwasher worked like a charm. I might also suggest that you test the machine before putting it back just to make sure everything works and there are no leaks. And wear gloves. There are lots of sharp edges. The only slightly unusual tool you might not have is a torx #20 screwdriver. Lawrence B Haddonfield , NJ January 18, 2020 Appliance: Model DWHD651JFP Rinse aid was constantly leaking in my thermador star sapphire dishwasher (dwhd651jfp) Went to APP.com and found replacement part Detergent and Rinse Aid Dispenser, part # 00645208 (AP4355372). Watched the APP.com video and it seemed a straightforward repair so ordered the part. Arrived in 2 days. Followed the video for the install process and other than a couple of differences between the Bosch dishwasher repair in the video and what was needed to effect the repair on my Thermador, all went quickly and easily. Total repair time was about 1.25 hours including sorting out the differences mentioned above. Briefly, the differences were: (i) on the Thermador you have to remove 8 screws to release the front panel (in addition to the six lower screws shown in the video, the two top corner screws on the Thermador must also be removed before the panel will slide down and out; and, (ii) the control panel on the Thermador is slightly different from that on the video's Bosch machine (it goes down further behind the from panel so the top wire connector and the harness release are obscured) but these can be treated the same once the panel is removed. It was a fun little project and good to save the cost of a repairman coming to do the job! Leonard T Braintree , MA April 15, 2025 Appliance: Model BOSCH SHPM65Z52N/20 Screws had fallen out of the metal frame around the inner dw door I had removed the frame some time ago to deal with a different issue. It turns out there are two types of screws. Apparently, when I replaced the screws, I did so randomly, and some did not quite fit the holes, and fell out and were lost over time. There are longer screws, 022 on your diagram, that fit the UPPER three holes in the dishwasher door frame. The shorter screws, 023 on your diagram, fit the lower three holes on the dishwasher door frame. The screw heads are the same, but the threads are different. (BTW, I ordered the screws with routine shipping Friday afternoon and they were delivered by FedEx Saturday morning!) Read More...
