Description

This door seal fits into the channel around the dishwasher tub opening to form a watertight barrier when the door closes, helping prevent leaks and maintain wash performance and efficiency. What it does

• Compresses between the door and tub to keep wash water and steam contained
• Helps prevent leaks from the sides or top of the door
• Maintains proper pressure and noise control inside the wash cavity
• Common failure signs: water leaking at the front edges, visible cracks/tears, hardening or flattening of the gasket, or the seal falling out of its groove

Install notes

• Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
• Open the door, pull the old seal from the channel, and thoroughly clean the groove
• Starting at the top center, press the new seal evenly into the channel; ensure corners are fully seated
• Close the door to help the seal set, then run a short test cycle and check for leaks
