Description

This micro switch is a small, fast-acting on/off switch tripped by a mechanical lever or float to send a signal to the control. Replacing a worn microswitch restores accurate sensing so the appliance starts, stops, and runs when it should. What it does

• Senses the position of a linked mechanism (lever, float, latch) and opens/closes an electrical circuit
• Helps the control enable or disable functions only when conditions are correct
• Failure symptoms include intermittent operation, cycles that won't start, or a unit that keeps running until power is removed
