After having seen the video I installed the new lid and it worked.

So my circ pump impeller broke and I went in with a new kit. Once I got in there, I saw that the washer circ pump was mounted way off true. Apparently my tenant had tried some organic soap, gunked up the washer and called a tech without telling me. This tech was some sort of primate and really messed up with the repair. The pump output was connected to the soft bearing with a standard hose clamp and had torn the soft bearing. The pump was also improperly inserted into the sump and had ruined the seal. There was no repairing it. So I ordered a new sump seal and the proper hose clamp (very narrow and small). I also could not replace just the heater side soft bearing so I bought a used heater assembly with a good soft bearing and reassembled. Works like a champ. I also replaced the eaten up door seal while I was in there. The first time I went in, it took me an entire morning only to have it leak from the bad seals when I tried it. The second time, with new seals and all, only took 90 minutes. I felt like a champ. It is very easy to completely disassemble these things for easily working each assembly. It just takes one good deep dive and I feel like I know the whole machine now.
