Description

The Water Valve is an OEM part for Bosch refrigerators. It regulates the flow of water into the ice maker and water dispenser.

The water valve allows water to fill the ice maker bucket or flow through the dispenser chute on demand. It controls water pressure and assists in proper ice formation.
Over time, mineral buildup can affect a water valve's ability to open and close smoothly. 

Symptoms of a bad water valve include:

  • Slow or inadequate water flow from the dispenser
  • Ice maker not filling or producing ice fully
  • Water leaking inside refrigerator compartments
  • No water dispensing when button is pressed
