Description

The Water Filter is an OEM replacement part for Bosch refrigerators. It helps ensure the water supplied to the ice maker and water dispenser is clean and contaminant-free by removing impurities from incoming water lines.

Causes of a bad water filter can include exceeding recommended replacement intervals, accumulation of mineral deposits that restrict flow, or damage to components from contaminants in the water supply.  

Symptoms of a bad water filter include:

  • Cloudy or stale-tasting water from the dispenser
  • Slow ice production or icemaker malfunctions  
  • Standing water or leaks from water lines
  • White mineral residue developing inside the refrigerator 

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore refrigerators.
