David F Sagamore Hills , OH December 21, 2017 Appliance: Bosch Dryer WTMC3300US/01 Squeaking in unison with drum rotation. Replaced front drum roller wheels and rear drum bearing.Pull plug. Remove 2 screws holding top panel,slide rearward and lift panel off. Remove all screws from back panel,wiring cover and cord clamp. Remove back panel and feed cord through hole.No need to remove cord. Remove 2 screws from heater box and let it drop rearward.Remove belt from motor pulley and let tensioner rest against motor pulley.This step will trigger the switch that disables motor if belt breaks.The switch does not reset itself when the belt is reinstalled.Remove the 2 screws holding the rear drum plate.Remove drum, using belt to lift and pull rearward.Remove clips holding rollers to shaft.Clean the shafts and use a few drops of oil to lube shaft and inside roller.I was disapointed that Bosch did not use a bushing or bearing on the rollers.There was not any noticeable wear but were very dry. I may have been able to have just cleaned and lubed the existing rollers.The rear drum bearing is a bronze bushing,4 screws and transfer.I cleaned and lubed the belt tensioner pulley while it was easily accessable.Vacuum inside cabinet and ducting.Reinstall drum assembly and belt.Reset motor disable switch.Check drum is rolling freely before testing with cover off.
