Briggs & Stratton Generic Briggs & Stratton Rocker Cover Gasket
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 806039S

This genuine OEM replacement part is a rocker cover gasket for a wide variety of Briggs & Stratton engines. A rocker cover gasket seals oil into the camshaft. The camshaft (or rocker) is the part of an engine that translates the up and down piston movements into rotational movements to turn the crankshaft. While the engine is running, there is a flurry of motion that requires a lot of oil in the camshaft. The rocker cover helps keep all this oil inside the proper places, but it needs a gasket to help seal everything in place. Engines produce a lot of heat and after prolonged use, a gasket will warp or break. When this happens, oil will begin leaking from the engine. An obvious sign of this is if the engine begins burning bluish grey smoke and seems to be going through oil at a faster-than-normal rate. This part is sourced from the original manufacturer and ships individually.

Briggs & Stratton Connecting Rod
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 807900S

This connecting rod is a genuine Midwest Engine part, sold individually. This connecting rod can be used as a replacement part for a variety of small engine outdoor appliances including lawn mowers, snowblowers, generators, and wood chippers. The purpose of the connecting rod in a small engine outdoor appliance is to affix the piston and the crankpin to one another so that the pump mechanism of the engine can be operated. The connecting rod in a small engine outdoor appliance might have to be replaced within the standard lifespan of the appliance if the connecting rod no longer affixes the two components to one another. The connecting rod could be punctured, scraped, or eroded over general wear and tear from long-term use, in which case the component should be removed and replaced by this genuine OEM replacement part. Remember to always wear gloves when handling, repairing, and operating outdoor equipment. Always unplug the appliance before performing any kind of repair or replacement. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually. This connecting rod is compatible with the following outdoor appliance brands: Midwest Engine, Briggs & Stratton, Toro, Snapper, and Simplicity.

Briggs & Stratton Lawn Tractor Push Rod
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 692011

This authentic OEM replacement push rod connects to the camshaft on small or medium sized gas-powered lawn tractor engines, and as the camshaft turns, the push rod transfers that motion into the valves. Without a functioning push rod, the valves will not open and the engine will not work. Push rods also act as transferring units that bring oil through the valves and into the camshaft. If these parts start to stick due to poor lubrication, push rods can bend and will no longer work properly. It is also possible, though rare, for a push rod to bend due to general metal fatigue over time. To identify a bent push rod, listen for a ticking sound in the engine and look out for any slipping gears. Accessing the push rods will mean taking apart the camshaft and valves and may require the user's manual. This replacement part is sourced from its original manufacturer and is compatible with Craftsman and Briggs & Stratton lawn tractors. It ships individually.
