Briggs & Stratton Generator Filter

Briggs & Stratton Filter Pre-Cleaner
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 692520

This durable filter pre-cleaner serves an important purpose in the engine of several types of lawn and garden equipment. It offers extra protection for the air filter, extending its life. The pre-cleaner filter and the air filter ensure that the air that is then passed over to the engine is clean and clear of debris that could be harmful to the engine. As time goes on, the filter pre-cleaner can become clogged or will wear out and require a replacement. To replace the filter pre-cleaner, the equipment should be turned off and the spark plug removed. The hood should be opened, as well as the cover on the breather. There is a bolt that will need to be removed that holds the filters in their place. Loosen the nut plate and replace the filter pre-cleaner before tightening the nut back up to hold it steady. The cover can be replaced on the breather before closing the hood. Replace the spark plug and power on the unit to use it.This filter pre-cleaner is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. The component is designed for use with lawnmowers and generators created by Simplicity, Briggs & Stratton, and Cub Cadet.

Briggs & Stratton Fuel Line
Genuine Midwest Engine part
By: Midwest Engine
Part Number: 791891

This is a genuine replacement fuel line with an in-line fuel filter. It is designed to work with a number of different small engines found on yard equipment, such as lawn mowers, tillers, and more. This part serves several critical purposes on the engine, including moving fuel from the tank to the combustion chamber. The in-line filter removes debris and contaminants from the fuel, helping keep the engine running smoothly. Fuel lines and fuel filters both wear out over time. Debris will eventually clog fuel filters, forcing a replacement. Fuel lines can become brittle through time, exposure to gasoline, and exposure to heat and the elements. Replacing this fuel line/fuel filter combo is simple. A pair of needle-nosed pliers is the only tool required. Simply pinch the clamps to open them, pull the fuel line loose from the nipples, and replace it with the new part. Note that this fuel line is designed for a range of Briggs & Stratton small engines found on common yard equipment, including Toro lawn mowers. It is an OEM part and is sold individually.
