Eugene Q Marietta , OK August 21, 2020 Grease build up and missing light lens. I took the stove vent completely apart so I could clean it inside and out. I boiled the fan blowers in a large pot until all the grease melted off. I sprayed the bare hood with oven cleaner and rinsed it off. I do know NOT to use oven cleaner on aluminum so I boiled the screens also. Those are not that old. Everything almost looks new now. Fan is quiet and even moves air much better. The original switch seems kinda stiff so I got a new one for when it goes out. The light lens was missing when I moved in 22 years ago. Got a new one. Looks and feels like I got a new vent hood haha.
