Dennis H Annandale , NJ February 05, 2017 Appliance: Kenmore Range Hood 23352445590 Kenmore oven exhaust hood / solid state / with broan nutone motor Exhausts horizontally to the outside....look at the picture of that beautiful motor.... The hood is nearly 30 years old.. I had replaced the blowers a few years ago and re painted the hood also from white to black to match the oven.... what a beautiful hood matching my beautiful oven !!! ... The motor died ( tears all over the kitchen )... all the other parts were ok so only the $105.00 motor to be replaced ( expensive for a little motor ).... took the motor / blower unit all apart & did a lot of internal de greasing / cleaning. Slow & easy I did work to ascertain all went back together for a newly installed and balanced motor experience... now when I am standing at the oven with the exhaust fan dialed up to max, it nearly pulls me up into the hood... almost pulled off my T shirt...took me a few hours with the cleaning and all.... but the result is super duper.... ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM... received the motor in 3 days... I am holding the old one as a keepsake..( maybe I will re build it & sell it on Ebay ) I have purchased many appliance parts from AppliancePartsPros.com and their knowledge & service is good........ refrigerator parts are not at all cheap.... some are just too pricey, but " better to repair than to replace ".... it's amazing how many people will not bother to make needed repairs to their appliances...YouTube is also great as you all know to see how to do it. I also recently took apart the oven door and cleaned the 3 glass panels that comprise the door window... did not need any parts... just the YouTube to show all that needed to be done to do the job right...
