Rita M Waverly , TN November 15, 2024 Appliance: Model B5636SS BROAN RANGE HOOD Vent hood the light switch would not turn off light Ordered replacement switch push button assy which has 5 switches fan on/off, 3 speeds and light off/on. This model required total dissemble as it had to be hardwired to board which was above the motor under a cover. Had to remove chimney hood covers, route the wiring harness into place and terminate new wires. Replaced one light which was quick disconnect and located on the bottom. It took some time but it did cure the problem. Fortunately my profession is electrician so not a daunting task just required more time than I hoped. Also got to do some cleaning while apart.
