This charcoal filter fits an over-the-range microwave hood and absorbs cooking odors when the unit is set to recirculate indoors. Replacing a saturated filter restores effective odor control and helps keep vent airflow unobstructed.
- Absorbs smoke and odors in non-vented/recirculating installations
- Helps maintain proper vent airflow and fan performance
- Common signs it's due: lingering odors, weak vent suction, dark/discolored filter media, or a damaged/crumbly filter
- Restores intended odor-reduction performance after the original filter is saturated
What's included: One charcoal odor filter Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the microwave before servicing
- Remove the upper grille/access panel to access the charcoal filter compartment
- Slide out the old filter; install the new one in the same orientation and seat fully
- Reinstall the grille, restore power, and test the vent fan
Good to know: Charcoal filters are not washable; replace when saturated or damaged.
