Philip F New River , AZ August 02, 2015 Appliance: Magic Chef Freezer MCUF88W Older magic chef freezer quit freezing Checked several web sites for this freezer and came to conclusion to either buy a new freezer or replace a few parts that I could do easily for cheaper than repairman would charge just to look at the freezer. A few people had stated that either the thermostat, capacitor or ptc had been the problem with their freezer so I ordered all three for $80 total with shipping.
