This thermistor is a temperature-sensing component that monitors internal refrigerator temperatures and sends readings to the control board. E4 error

Replaced evaporator temperature sensor (thermistor), part DG8-7. Cut the wires and spliced in the new one. Nominal resistance on thermistor should be 2K ohms. Mine was 200 ohms.
