This ice maker shut-off arm is the wire lever that detects the ice bin level and stops production when raised. Replace a bent, broken, or missing arm to restore reliable on/off control of your icemaker.

Monitors bin fullness; in the up position it opens the internal switch to pause ice making
Lowers as ice is used so the icemaker can resume cycles
Restores manual shutoff when you lift the arm

What's included: One shut-off arm Install notes:

Disconnect refrigerator power and turn off the water supply before servicing
Remove the ice bin for access; open the icemaker front cover if your model has one
Pull the old arm straight out of the pivot holes; align and fully seat the new arm so it moves freely
Restore power and lower the arm to resume ice production; the arm raises and stops production when the bin is full
