This is a replacement lawn tractor shield-deflector. The shield-deflector, or grass chute, is made from strong, high-quality plastic and attaches to the lawn tractor deck's side. Its purpose is to direct grass clippings and other debris away from the rider while mowing. Over time, the original shield-deflector can become worn and damaged, allowing debris to blow up onto the lawn tractor driver. Debris expelled from the lawn tractor can cause property damage, injury, or even death. Ensure the area is always clear of bystanders while mowing and consult the operator's manual to ensure proper installation of all replacement parts.This shield-deflector is designed to be a replacement for original worn or damaged shield-deflectors on AYP, Jonsered, Redmax, Craftsman, Poulan, Husqvarna, Poulan Pro, Weed Eater, and McCulloch 46-inch lawn tractor decks. This replacement shield-deflector is an OEM part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The shield-deflector is sold individually and does not come with hardware included. Tools needed for replacement may consist of; 1/2 inch socket, 7/16 inch socket, vise-grip pliers, a large flat-head screwdriver, and a hammer.
