Thermador retractable exhaust hood failed to retract

The top switch which activates the range to raise or lower burned up. It got shorted out because my wife spilled water on the switch. I immediately went to the AppliancePartsPros parts website and ordered the replacement parts. They were expedited delivery and came the next day. It took about 30 minutes to replace the parts and it was back working.
