Replaced gasket and door lock e:01 Bosch model WFVC3300UC/19.

Took gasket off to reach door lock. Took door lock off and plugged in the new one. Replaced gasket with a new one while we had it off.

The door locking system would lockup so that the door would not open without pulling the safety release and sometimes even the release would not allow the door to open

No error codes but wouldn't start when press start

We did some online research and all things pointed to common reason for non start- the door lock mechanism. Easily found the replacement part and it came within 3 days. with the help of videos it was a straightforward replacement. We were pretty proud of ourselves :-) We discussed how it's so easy to find replacement parts for anything now online which is a big cost savings! Thanks Appliance Parts Pros!
