How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP5690750 / 00689412 Outer Door

Ordered part and did it myself in about 15 minutes. 

Using our model number we located the part’s on AppliancePartsPros website. Then we called to make sure we had the SS part number and your staff adjusted our order to make certain we got the Stainless Steel front door panel. The info on the site provided was not for our exact model but we did learn plenty before starting. I strongly suggest you have a helper as you work through the process. Everything fit together with precision. These are well-engineered dishwashers and we are very happy with the new look. We are changing all our appliances to Bosch Stainless Steel. I strongly recommend AppliancePartsPros for informative videos and fantastic parts. 

Earlier comments and video's on Bosch dishwasher were very helpful. My Bosch model was not captured in a video. There are important differences so recommend taking a few pictures/video of your model wiring and connection points before full disassembly. There was a learning curve. Thanks 

This was such a quick fix to change from White to Stainless Steel.. purchased the outer panel and the install couldn't have been easier! All I needed was a screwdriver.. no instructions necessary. Did it my myself in less then 15min. 

Ordered new stainless panel for door and installed it in 20 minutes. Panel fit perfectly. Looks great! 

I sent a request to the Appliance Parts Pros with the model number of my dishwasher and they provided all of the part numbers. I had contacted a local appliance parts company, and they told me that my model number did not have a stainless steel option. I am so glad I contacted Appliance Parts Pros! I decided to order only the door panel portion, and to leave the facia and control buttons black, since they receive a lot of hand touches and might leave a lot of finger prints. I received the door panel portion in 2 days as they said. I watched a video on youtube and was able to change the door panel out in about 5 minutes. It fit marvelously! Thank you Appliance Part Pros - you saved me a ton of money as I did not have to buy a new dishwasher! 

With the great help of you folks l switched both panels.The control panel was very difficult. 

Took the old panel off, put the new panel on. I want to thank you for all the help over the phone. 

Bought panel from you. Could not find video to change panel on our particular model. Recommend using masking tape to keep panel to door to keep electronics in place when removing screws. There are three slots located on top of the panel that clip into the electronic panel. Used a putty knife to remove slots from electronic panel. New panel snapped in place & replaced the screws. Was relatively easy once the slots were noticed and found way to release the slots. 

We are changing our appliances from black to stainless steel and our dishwasher is fairly new so we ordered a new front panel for it.
