How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP5691255 / 00689996 Outer Door Panel

Just peeled plastic off of back and applied to front plate. 

Replace door cover, handle and handle end caps with stainless. 

I ordered the stainless panel, along with the handle and end caps. It was reasonably priced and arrived very quickly. My husband and I watched the video on your website and followed the directions. In less than half an hour we were done, and it looks fabulous! 

I talked to an appliance parts pros tech who recommended the correct parts. The part links included a video that showed the T20 star bit needed and the process of how to do it. Couldn't have been easier. I would have done it wrong without the video. A+ 

I pulled up your video on how to do it and it was very straight-forward. The only "special" tool that was required was a Torx screwdriver, but I have a set, so it was fine. I ordered the parts on a Sunday night, got the shipping confirmation on Monday, and they arrived on Wednesday - I had the repair done that same night. Very good experience. 

Replaced white outer wrap & handle with stainless replacements. Removed 6 screws, switched out the insulation, & replaced. 10 min max. Looks awesome! 

Switched out with new panel and fascia. Easy job, very disappointed wanted more challenge! After unscrewing the front panel it exposed the control module , taking out the fascia was just snapping off a few tabs front and back. Putting everything back was just a matter of reverse process. The hardest part was taking off the protective plastic layer on the front panel. 

Replaced panel with part purchased from AppliancePartsPros, fits perfectly.
