How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP5691430 / 00752102 Right Door Hinge Lever

I went on your very user friendly website and looked up my bosch dishwasher. I love your diagrams and I felt confident that I could figure out what we possibly needed to get the door to close correctly and get the washer back working again. Your staff is courteous, service was fast and I would definitely recommend Appliance Parts Pros. 

AppliancePartsPros exploded views made it easy for me to identify the door and hinge parts that had likely been damaged. Evidently, this happens often enough that they even made a repair video for this exact misfortune. After confirming that the suspected hinge and door parts were indeed damaged, I ordered replacement parts from APP and began fretting about the door being damaged in shipping. Not to worry. Three days later, the parts arrived and the door was packaged in sealed pack foam and in perfect shape. Thanks to the exact parts and the video, the dishwasher is working like new again and sis is baking me cookies. 

I previously replaced the door string and springs which were broken, the door gasket and then the latches without fixing the leaking and flashing light problem. As a last resort I replaced the door hinges and that was the solution! Even though it was hard to tell the old hinges were bent I knew the door had been dropped many times while the springs were broken. Wish I tried this first, but happy in the end it solved the problem and it was a fairly easy installation. 

Pretty easy and very much like the video. My model is slightly different and we had to open the door more before the string attached to the spring would release. Other than that, pretty easy. 

I had an authorized appliance repair person tell me it was the circulation pump which I replaced. It was not that. Though the part I bought from here worked great. I did more research and found it could be that the hinges might have been bent keeping the door from closing 100%. The parts were heavy duty and arrived fast. I replaced the hinges which were easy - medium hard based on skill level. Dishwasher is working 100% now. No problem. Found out after my 4 yo fell on the Dishwasher door during a sword fight w/ his brother which caused the damage.

After someone fell onto the open door and bent the hinges, I went online looking for parts, and while several online vendors had what I needed. Replaced both hinges (the other ones were bent from the child standing on the door while it was open). And replaced the latch at the same time. Pretty easy fix to do didn’t take real long.
