How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4372139 / 00615079 Micro Filter Basket Assembly

Since I couldn't find my dish washer manual, I started looking for pieces I could remove to clean. We have hard water, which always causes calcification and sediment on surfaces. I removed the bottom spray arm and then the micro filter piece. The filter was completely clogged and a couple of the holes on the spray arm were clogged. Tried soaking the filter piece in straight vinegar which removed some of the calcium/soap mess, but not all. I tried scrubbing it, but soon gave up. So glad I found Appliance Parts Pros and the video. Finding the correct part was really easy by using the model number of my dish washer. Ordered and received in just a few days. Installed the piece and now I have clean dishes again. Easy! Please keep in mind, I'm a 70 year old grandma who likes to be able to "fix" and save money, too. Thanks APP!!! 

Took the old ones out and replaced - very simple - for non technical person. 

I purchased a new dispenser assembly from AppliancePartsPros.com, having purchased other appliance parts from them in the past, and replaced the malfunctioning assembly. Making sure that the new unit was fully seated, so that the gasket would fully prevent any leakage, was a little difficult, but otherwise, the installation was pretty straightforward and easy. 

Replaced spray arms and filter.

A new door seal (AP3768902) was ordered. Remove the old seal by pulling it from the channel where it is inserted. Clean the channel using a small rag dampened with WD40 and a flat screw driver or flat wooden stick. Push the rag around the channel with the screw driver to remove residue. Be careful not scratch the metal in the channel if using a screw driver. Measure the new seal and mark it's center. Observe which side faces out by looking at the old seal. Start the center of the seal at the center of the door latch and push it into the channel working from the center to each end. Stretch it slightly as you install it, so that each end terminates where the old seal ended at the door contact area in the bottom of the dishwasher. 

Once replaced the dishwasher worked like new--thank you so much for saving me a lot of money

Went fine, Video is greatly appreciated to show how to do the repair. Only problem the new gasket on the dispense was thicker than normal so it was not latching at all. I ended up using the old gasket which worked perfectly. 

Needed to verify that the probable cause of the noise was the actual failure, so followed the disassembly phase of your outstanding video on how to replace the impeller. Confirmed that, yes, the impeller was indeed worn out and had separated. Ordered replacement parts from your website, made easier by all the pictures provided. All of the parts arrived in three days as promised. Completed the repair by following the video step-by-step. Could not have completed this project without your excellent catalog of parts and videos. Thanks for helping me save nearly $1000 in replacement costs.
