How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP5690753 / 00745002 Base Panel

Using our model number we located the part’s on AppliancePartsPros website. Then we called to make sure we had the SS part number and your staff adjusted our order to make certain we got the Stainless Steel front door panel. The info on the site provided was not for our exact model but we did learn plenty before starting. I strongly suggest you have a helper as you work through the process. Everything fit together with precision. These are well-engineered dishwashers and we are very happy with the new look. We are changing all our appliances to Bosch Stainless Steel. I strongly recommend AppliancePartsPros for informative videos and fantastic parts.

Ordered the panel and the handle, watched video, which was helpful as I would have not realized that the 3 screws in the handle needed to be taken out before removing the panel. 

Viewed site video on how to change panels. It was incredibly easy. Took maybe 20 minutes. Looks perfect. Materials were shipped immediately and received in two days. Called appliance repair shop before purchasing from Appliancepartspros, and they quoted me $182.00 for the job. 

Replaced all the seals, except the lower door seal. It worked out great, easy to do. 

Self installing of toe kick on the dishwasher. 

New dishwasher only a year ago or so. Changed appliances to stainless but didn’t want to purchase a new dishwasher so we bought a front panel, handle and control panel fascia and now we have a “new” stainless dishwasher! 

The parts arrived quickly and were well packed. The swap went fairly quickly once I figured out how to do it and with help from customer support. 

Following an 8-month long rehab of our kitchen, we found that some key parts of the dishwasher were missing once it was reinstalled.
