How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP5272238 / 00704287 Door And Window Assembly

Replaced door assembly 

I ordered Bosch washer window/door asm part from AppliancePartsPros. The part arrived in two days, and it fits well on the older washer. Replacement assembly is also easy. 

AppliancePartsPros.com is awesome. On Wednesday I ordered the front door panel and rear door panel just for good measure. Thursday the parts arrived! Thirty minutes after that I determined I had ordered the incorrect parts. They looked exactly correct and likely a different year of Axxis washer. I called AppliancePartsPros to see about a return. Morgan took my call and was exceedingly helpful! She helped me with ordering the correct item, the washer door and set up the RMA. At 11:53am Friday the new part arrived. At 12:10pm Friday afternoon the door was installed and the washer was back in service. Thank you Morgan and AppliancePartsPros.

I ordered the replacement part 

Ordered parts online and watched YouTube videos. issues: many different models, with some models, gasket can be changed from the front, others require that you take the machine apart. Not clear which we had (had to take the machine apart). Gasket poorly designed - will get moldy in time. Two steel wires are used to seal gasket - one inside the machine another outside. Challenging to get them on. Door assemble easy to do.
