How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4393070 / 216954214 Electronic Control Board (Refrigerator)

These two parts the start capacitor and controller, plus a function controller board purchased elsewhere, put our freezer back online in minutes. There's not much that goes wrong with these freezers unless there's a power surge which is what killed ours. Don't call the appliance guy, do the research and figure out what you need. It took about 20 minutes to change all three parts and the freezer is working like new. 

I figured out what I needed, ordered my parts and then two days had them in my hand. They were the correct parts and I had no problem installing them. Within an hour my freezer was up and running and now I can go back to hoarding food, ha ha. 

Tested run capacitor, compressor, start switch and evaporator fan. All tested well except start switch. Replaced control board as well.
