How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4356477 / 316462804 Control Board

Called for a repair tech, he told me what the problem was, I had already checked out the burnt connections,repair was going to be $450-500 range, My wife & I discussed repair or new range,repair won out.I am a retired machine repairman with some elect skills,so looked up parts online ordered them, installed the new control board with the new "decal" , checked out the oven, etc, everything seems good to go. This range is only 6.5 yrs old , they don't seem to make them last as long as the ones I grew up with. 

Checked various modes of oven operation to rule out any specific fault. All modes would not heat up the oven. Research led me to believe the control board was the likely culprit. Pulled oven, remove a couple screws to the back panel, remove control panel, swap connectors over to new board, re-install, test oven, checks good, push oven back in. Overall time to complete: Less than an hour. 

After checking ohms on heater elements and temp sensor which were all good, ordered main control board. arrived next day, took about 10 minutes to replace. turned on and everything was good 

Tried using a new temperature sensor, but that wasn't the problem, the oven went to an extremely high temperature again with basement breaker shutdown. I ordered a new EOC. The $200 part came the next day and installed in one hour. Oven then ran spot on to temperature and I could not be more pleased and relieved. Electronic oven control unit part was the problem. Replace this and swallow the cost,because it worked for me.
