How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4411764 / WB06X10775 Ring Assembly

I ordered the relevant parts that I found easily on the website. Turntable replacement is a breeze. Motor replacement was easy but required pulling the built in unit out far enough to get to the access plate from below. Looks like I will plan to replace the turntable more often (when the wheels start catching the turntable starts wobbling) which will likely allow the motor to last much longer. 

Got new Ring Assembly. 

Just replaced it 

Ordered the new Ring Assembly. 

I cleaned up the existing shaft turntable, ring assembly, and polished the stainless steel under it. Things got better, but still had some sparking. Replaced the shaft turntable and ring assembly and back to zero sparking. Not sure if I needed to replace both. 

Purchased replacement part 

Replaces motor, ring and shaft. Tested it and everything works fine. 

Replaced ring under glass plate, as well as shaft. I did save used parts to be on safe side! My glass plate is happy now. 

We purchased and replaced parts. 

Bought a new ring assembly.
