How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3883054 / WB06X10633 Rotating Ring Assembly

Easiest repair ever 

I couldn't, I had to order a new one. 

I ordered the rotating assembly, which was cracked to see if this was the problem before I ordered the motor I had checked the motor was rotating, but I didn’t know underload if it would quit, but there was a crack on the rotating tray so I wanted to check out that problem first 

Very easy to repair. 

Ordered the Motor and Rotating Ring Assembly. Assumed it would be both. Replaced the Ring and noise went away. Hanging on to the motor in case I need it later. 

Replaced both the motor and the rotating ring assembly (both were causes). The wall-mounted microwave is just a kit for a countertop model. Although it takes several screws to remove the microwave from the wall, the process is very easy. Some mentioned a small access door for the motor, however this model did not have that. The bottom cover of the microwave is a single piece and can be loosened enough to access the motor. The repair itself is extremely easy. 

Used the rotating ring to fix the problem. 

Ordered new part for turntable. First part arrived broken in shipment. Ordered second part and it arrived undamaged. Replaced part. Works fine. 

Ordered the correct plate and centerpiece for our model. 

I ordered a replacement part.
