How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2044504 / WH01X10060 Selector Knob

I accessed the APP website, and learned that this GE dryer has 2 heating elements. A heater element repair kit was available so I ordered it. Upon disassembly of the dryer, I discovered that one of the coils was indeed broken. I removed the old coils, installed the new coils, and now it's really hot.

Replaced switch and knob with parts from Appliancepartspros.com. 

Installed new belt. 

Ordered new parts and watched the video that was included with the email confirmation. If was very helpful! 

Replaced it 

Ordered and replaced the Selector Knob. 

I just ordered the Selector Knob and put it on the stem. There was no need for tools. 

Replaced the Selector Knob.
